wha happened: You're so correct. I mean, the WT and elders literally teach that if you're depressed, feeling down, or having some sort of problem it's because there's a problem WITH YOU. You are either missing meetings, not going out in service, not reading the Bible, OR PRACTICING SECRET SINNNNNNNNN.
Of course the cure to your problems is literally to go out in field service. No wonder witnesses turtle up when there's problems.

As mentioned yeah. Your smartphone does. You can use your phone as a wi-fi hotspot so you can connect an iPad to it. That link you posted earlier is just a crappy app that has a list of open wifi locations. Not incredibly useful these days.
Yes, if a Kingdom hall had an internet connection setup, the router could be programmed to only allow access to certain websites.
I am not aware of any policies from the branch in regards to internet access at kingdom halls. I know that assembly halls and convention facilities do.

i read somewhere that directives have been issued over the years which contributes to the reason that older publications cannot be found in the kingdom halls.

There's been direction to dump old stuff found in the literature counter. There's never been direction that I'm aware of to get rid of stuff in the library. It's usually the opposite. They're supposed to have old stuff in there too.

Actually Lucas is the one person who should stay away from them. The first Star Wars movie was absolutely horrible until his ex-wife stepped in and literally saved the movie. Empire Strikes Back is the best movie and its no coincidence it was the one he was least involved on.

according to the letter the missionarys/order of full time servants desperately need to get to the conventions in their homeland.
so to accomplish this, jehovah needs 15 cents per publisher, per congregation for some months ( sorry i can't remember the exact length of time ).

interesting meeting today.the do had the last talk and he mentioned a couple of things i have not heard before :.
1) the new lighter magazines are designed in a way to attract people to our website .
2)the ministry will change to incoprorate preacing in town centres and and with stands as in manhattan and certain brothers will be allocated to do this .so it is done now in a big scale ,organised.. 3)the qr codes at the back of the magazines are there for smart phone users to guide them directly to jw.org ,unlike bad old internet via laptops and pc's that you have to look for the website on google and sometimes end up in enemy websites that look like our website but are spreading lies about jw's (he said exactly that!
Yeah you need an app. There's a billion of them for every platform. Pretty common place now.
